Custom Rigaku stages: Kinematic tilt stage
This kinematic tilt stage fits inside the S-Max3000 sample chamber to measure : surface small angle scattering (under conditions of total external reflection), X-ray reflectivity, and surface fluorescence(with additional energy dispersive detector). The tilt stage is supported kinematically on three independent height controls and provides sub arc-second angular resolution in the plane of incidence and perpendicular to that plane. This allows a two-dimensional detector to collect both specular and off-specular scattering.
