ZSXmini II benchtop wavelength dispersive sequential X-ray spectrometer
The Woodlands, TX — February 10, 2005. Rigaku has always prided itself on being able to deliver cutting-edge technology to the environmental industry. Industry experts have come to expect superior performance from Rigaku WDXRF spectrometers. The recently introduced benchtop ZSXmini II continues Rigaku's tradition of excellence. The ZSXmini II is a full range, easy to use, air-cooled, benchtop Wavelength Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence spectrometer at an affordable price. The ZSXmini II's small footprint makes it a perfect choice for mobile laboratories to measure metals in soils and sediments, including the RCRA requirements.
In the characterization and remediation of contaminated soil sites, a need exists for quick and reliable assays of coarse or processed soils to provide screening for areas of significant contamination during the cleanup operation. The ZSXmini II's low detection limits, wide elemental range (Na through U), and powerful software offer a perfect complement for validation for in-situ techniques. The ZSXmini II can determine if further testing is needed by other analytical techniques. Unlike Energy Dispersive XRF analyzers, the ZSXmini II can easily and completely resolve many common overlapping elements—providing a quality of data not previously possible in this price range. Standardless analysis is also possible with Fundamental Parameters (FP) software.
