Temperature programmed desorption (TPD) type V
Highly sensitive gas detection and accurate measurement of the sample temperature can be performed by this analytical system. The evolved gas when a sample is heated in a high vacuum is measured by mass spectrometry. Details can be learned through identification of what was adsorbed to the surface of a solid, the quantity of adsorption as well as the desorption process from the surface.
Features
- Accurate thermometry by advanced temperature control techniques of thermal analysis
- High-speed clean heating with a compact infrared image furnace
- Enhanced temperature precision and resolution in dealing with desorption spectra
- Even a transparent sample or powdery sample is directly measurable
- Creation of a system specifically designed to concentrate the gasified components on the MS ion source (patent pending)
- A small-sized system design, drastically reduced installation space
