JXG generator control

JXG can run as a stand alone program or as a module integrated within StructureStudio to control the X-ray generator. It works for most X-ray generators sold by Rigaku and will run under either Windows^® or LINUX^®. In order to use JXG there must be a serial connection from the generator to the computer running JXG.

JXG provides facilities to monitor and set the power settings and reports alarms for the generator. It will also run standard or user customizable scripts for ramping up or ramping down the generator.

CrystalClear™ uses JXG as a server to provide generator control as an integral part of the data collection process. For example, CrystalClear will allow the user to ramp down and turn of the generator after the data collection has completed.
